NOTE ABOUT POWER CARVING TOOLS: If you are looking for a roto carving tool then I only recommend Foredom, Pfingst, or Dremel Heavy Duty flex shaft tools. Do yourself a favor and stick to the 3 major reliable manufacturers to avoid getting stuck with a piece of junk:

I had a really bad experience with a different brand of flex shaft caving tool that routinely tore up all of my expensive carving hand pieces. The problem was with the flex shaft where it attaches to the handles. The center core rod was too short to engage properly, so it quickly ripped up the inside of the hand pieces. Unfortunately, the shaft to motor attachment was exclusive to this device so I couldn't use a much better Foredom flex shaft on the motor. When I complained to the exclusive dealer / manufacturer of this particular brand (a company in Florida), the owner just told me to throw the torn up EXPENSIVE hand pieces into my "junk drawer" (so much for customer support!). I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I throw away this Florida company's carving catalogs as soon as I receive them.
Luckily, one of my torn up hand pieces was a Pfinst model which I sent back to the manufacturer to be repaired for much less than the cost of a new one. I will buy more Pfinst equipment because they stand by their products!
